The mobile phone: driving digital convergence

Avenir Telecom has been the first distributor to bet on the convergence between the different mobile and multimedia universes (pictures, music, games…) and on the changes in the consumers behaviour with the internet mobile.
The mobile 2.0
Today, the consumer digital experience is multi-uses (voice / data), multi-networks (ficed, mobile, internet, TV) and multi-products (fixed phones, mobile phones and computers). Such as the Web2.0, the Mobile 2.0 is born and has now a social aspect. It becomes the pocket device helping you to keep in touch with your networks, to save all your contents with all the mobility functionalities.
The Internet Mobile is now a mass market with a huge number of devices with many functionalities and unlimited offers “multimedia mobile” from the operators. The Apps and OS are completely changing our way of communicate and our uses.
The new technologies (4G, Wimac, NFC….) are also part of the success of theses new devices.
To remain up-to-date ,we have to adapt our traditional business to the business 2.0, to the new products, new uses, new contents, new OS…..
Those changes are a real opportunity for Avenir Telecom and its shops network Internity to find some developments projects. |

Avenir Telecom plans to increase the number of Internity shops, and become the leading chain for mobile communications and digital convergence in Europe.
Developing its business website
Foreseeing the new consumption tendencies and the increase of the buyers on Internet in Europe, Avenir Telecom is implementing in all its subsidiaries some sales websites, complementary to its shops networks.
Strengthening leadership and winning market shares in wholesale
Avenir Telecom is already a European leader in wholesale distribution and is strengthening its position in this core activity on two fronts:
• Winning over and earning the loyalty of large distribution chains and independent dealers through high-end services: exclusive business offers, merchandising, product range management, logistical support, communications...
• Attracting new distribution networks (computer dealers, specialised photography shops, game stores, etc.), with a complete offer of convergent products : multimedia mobile phones, dedicated accessories, virtual services... |
